WordPress is the most popular website platform in the world. With Hostigo hosting, you can install WordPress in just a few clicks using cPanel. This guide shows you how.
1. Log in to cPanel
First, log into your Hostigo Client Portal at https://hostigo.co.za/billing/login, open your hosting service, and click Login to cPanel.
2. Open the WordPress Installer
Inside cPanel, locate the Software section and click on WordPress or Softaculous Apps Installer.
3. Start the Installation
Click Install and choose your domain name. Leave the directory field empty if you want WordPress installed on your main website (for example, yourdomain.co.za).
4. Enter Your Website Details
Enter your website name, admin username, password, and email address. These details will be used to log in to your WordPress dashboard.
5. Complete the Installation
Click Install to begin. Within a few minutes, WordPress will be fully installed on your hosting account.
6. Log in to WordPress
Once installed, you can log in to your website by visiting yourdomain.co.za/wp-admin and entering the username and password you created.
