Transferring your domain to Hostigo allows you to manage your hosting and domain in one place. This guide explains how to move your domain from another provider to Hostigo.
1. Unlock Your Domain
Log in to your current domain registrar and unlock your domain. This allows the domain to be transferred.
2. Get the Transfer Code
Request the transfer or EPP code (if applicable) from your current registrar. This code is required to move your domain.
3. Start the Transfer at Hostigo
Go to Hostigo’s website, enter your domain name in the transfer tool, and provide the transfer code.
4. Complete Payment
Finish the checkout process to begin the transfer. The domain will be added to your Hostigo account.
5. Transfer Processing
Domain transfers can take a few days to complete. During this time, your website and email will continue working.
Transfer Complete
Once the transfer is finished, you can manage your domain from your Hostigo Client Portal.
